Sledding in Actual Snow

About a month ago Mark was pulling Colton around the yard in his sled...with no snow! But today we actually got to take him sledding on a real hill, with actual snow. He had so much fun. The only reason he wanted to finally leave was because he was hungry! He finally said, "Daddy, eat!" So after sledding we went to Panera for some dinner and then came home to make a fire to sit around and warm up. Well, Mark and I enjoyed the fire. Colton ran around the room! I guess that works to warm little boys up too.

Sledding on the grass due to our crazy winter this year!

Thanks to daddy he can make even this fun!

Getting ready to go sledding.

His first ride down.

They're off!

Carrying him back up.

Ready for round 2.

This time daddy decided pulling him was easier.

And Colton didn't mind at all!

Big boy's going down on his belly!

We weren't sure if Colton was going to go down again after that first run, but he did and each time he loved it more and more. He loves to go fast! and he doesn't mind being out in the cold at all. In fact, once we got home he pulled out his bike to take that for a spin. Crazy boy! The only way Mark got him inside was to promise him they could make a fire. I just love that kid. And I'm glad he loves being outside and doing fun things. Can't wait to take him sledding again.
